Article 1.  The Night of Connected Commerce is a trademark of the company RÉPUBLIK, located at 22 quai Gallieni – 92150 Suresnes.

 

Article 2.  The purpose of the Night of Connected Commerce is to promote the connected commerce sector through the company and individuals. 

• To promote retail innovations and performance levers for companies,

• To highlight the diversity and effectiveness of the strategies used by management teams

 

Article 3. The Trophies of the Night of Connected Commerce are awarded by a jury of independent personalities chosen by the organizing committee. The jury consists of representative or media personalities, and they award trophies for each category based on the list of nominees established by the organizers. The decisions of the jury cannot be contested and do not need to be motivated.

 

Article 4. The organizers have determined 3 categories for the Night of Connected Commerce. This list is subject to change. The final list will be communicated at the end of Thursday, October 19, 2023.

 

Article 5. Professionals from the retail sector (general management, sales, marketing, purchasing, HR, and IT departments), innovative companies, startups, SMEs, large companies, as well as engineers, researchers, local authorities, and creatives can compete.

 

Article 6. Each candidate can submit multiple applications.

Candidates must pay a flat fee:

• 708 euros including VAT (€590 excluding VAT) per application for public administrations, associations, and companies with annual turnover of less than three million euros.

• 1 188 euros including VAT (€990 excluding VAT) per application for public administrations, associations, and companies with annual turnover of three million euros or more

 

Payment is made by bank transfer or check payable to RÉPUBLIK

 

Signing the document constitutes a financial commitment by the candidate, unless, in the event of force majeure, a termination is made by registered mail no later than 30 days before the Grand Oral.

 

Article 7. The organizers of the Night of Connected Commerce will start calling for applications from Tuesday, March 20, 2023. The deadline for applications is set for Friday, September 29, 2023.

Article 8. An audition of the nominees will be organized before the jury on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. During this audition, the nominees will present their operations and answer questions. Nominees may provide the jury with any desirable information, including visual documents (PowerPoint, printed materials) and quantitative data. All information communicated to the jury by the applicants (sales figures, notoriety, objectives, etc.) will be treated with total confidentiality, for which the organizing committee guarantees.

 

Article 9. Each candidate must be available from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023. A convocation with a detailed schedule and precise timing will be provided on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

 

Article 10. During the nominee audition scheduled for Thursday, October 19, 2023, the jury will establish its ranking using a multi-criteria evaluation grid developed by the organizing committee. Each candidate will have 3 minutes to present their application and an additional 3 minutes to answer any questions from the jury.

 

Article 11. The nominees and winners of the Trophies of the Night of Connected Commerce will be presented during the award ceremony on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Théâtre Mogador in Paris, as part of the evening program and live.

Article 12. The list of winners will only be revealed during the ceremony on Monday, November 20, 2023. A public vote will also be organized on the evening of the ceremony.

 

Article 13. By becoming a candidate of the Night of Connected Commerce, you agree to provide your contact information to RÉPUBLIK. The collection of this data is necessary to send you the documents that will facilitate your participation in the Grand Oral and the award ceremony. Your candidacy for the Night of Connected Commerce also allows you to receive invitations to other RÉPUBLIK events and benefit from offers from partners selected based on your profile. In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, supplemented by the law n° 2018-493 of June 20, 2018, enabling the concrete implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify or delete this data by sending a letter to RÉPUBLIK, 22 quai Gallieni, 92150 Suresnes, France.

 

Article 14. Every candidate undertakes to comply with this regulation and the jury's decision. They also undertake to pay their application fees no later than September 15, 2023; otherwise, their application will not be validated. This sanction does not exempt the candidate from paying their application fees.
